Project Looking Glass
Project looking glass is a Java based desktop system that sports an interesting 3D user interface. This is one of Sun’s little attempts to enter the desktop market. I’ve been playing around with this interface for a while, and I’ve got to say that this may become a viable desktop alternative. For those of you who don’t want to go through the process of installing/setting all of this 3D spiffiness up there is a live CD that can be found here
